This task is too big; it has laid bare,
Resistance and doubt,– do I now dare
To see the job through?
Stretch what I can do?

It gives indoor cycling great merit.
I’ll regain my strength,
And pedal the length
Of trails on this trip; I will swear it!

Seeing Possibilities
Even though I knew
“Winter coming soon,” eight inches of snow, mid-October,
Grabbed my attention. Actually, whacked my sense of possibility.
New Goal Set
Biking this autumn season shift, prompts my setting Second-Half Bike-Season Mileage goal:
One thousand by October 15.
Best Bike Time
Heat can sap energy & resolve. I have to get out in early cool-of-day. Otherwise, I’m melted into puddle of stultified immobility. Ugh.
