Embracing Abundance

Wednesday, April 24, 2024

Activities, plus time for biking,
Variety—that I am liking.
It is very true,
That what you can do,
Depends on the balance you're striking.

How do you take in an abundance of opportunity?

Our recent travels showed me again that
People were helpful when we needed help.
Times of "frazzled" weariness,
Made help important.
We got the help.

Now ... Really time to
Ride my bike!

Preparation for ten-day ride
With commercial co. I've ridden with before.
We'll start in Mankato, MN
On May 19th.
I’ll have 3 ½ weeks of daily rides to train.

Yippee!  I like bike trips.
I appreciate my own sense of satisfaction
In having put in the effortTo get me where I can go.

Truth be told…
As much as I am looking forward
To this adventure…
I am nervous about being "ready"— i.e. stamina.

Short prep time for this,
As I have followed other life-expanding possibilities
These last weeks.
Privileged with the abundance of opportunity!

My mind has two parts.
One that tells me,
"Prep-time is short.”
Another reminding me,
"You love doing this.”

I'm leaning in to the
"You love doing this" mind.

I will do what I can,
And be delighted.

I love bike possibility.
Here I am embracing this one!

Hugs,
Lin

Lin –
I too am wondering if I will be ready. After five weeks with no opportunity to bike (either indoors or out) I am finally riding – outdoors on my traditional bike. It feels good to be doing so. I’m currently in PA with one of my brothers. There is a great rail trail here. In a few days I’ll be back in NH (after 6 weeks of travel) and will try to get in daily rides on my e-bike, (between many appointments and commitments) during the 12 days before I head west with Ken and Nancy.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Fondly – Hope

Hi Lin!

How wonderful to hear of such an exciting upcoming trip! I am so inspired by your ability to do such incredible things! I hope to one day be able to ride a bike like you. 🤍

The abundance of opportunity that I am embracing now is that of Unconditional Love and Sharing Unconditional Love to myself and to All. In every moment I have an opportunity to choose, just as you said in your letter about which thought to choose, and I am committed to continuing to choose Unconditional Love! For when I do, I know All is Well and I am Whole, Holy, Perfect, Innocent, and Sacred, just as we were created. 🙏🏽

Thank you for your beautiful words! I’m so happy to see you shining in all of the photos from your trip to AZ! Love you Lin!
