When I laugh, my outlook gets brighter
The weight on my shoulders gets lighter.
Poss-i-bil-ity
Is clearer to me.
My efforts can simply seem “righter.”

Musings on and off the bike seat, since 2015
When I laugh, my outlook gets brighter
The weight on my shoulders gets lighter.
Poss-i-bil-ity
Is clearer to me.
My efforts can simply seem “righter.”
Avoiding some weather condition,
Can cause regrettable omission
Of things you might do.
Things that could bring you
An upsurge of joy and ambition.
My friend Sue epitomized sunscreen.
She guarded against any unseen—
Rays that might turn,
Her skin to sunburn.
Title for Sue is “The Prudent Queen.”
Living with solid stability,
Coming from your learned agility,
Will enhance your days
In so many ways.
Using your “balance-ability.”
When you note a “chafe” in your thinking,
When you think that life’s joys are shrinking,
You will regain traction,
By taking some action.
That tactic can keep you from sinking.
Thinking of this large number birthday,
Viewing years as my own long “stage play,”
Years show up as short.
Some days, the long sort.
I’m grateful to be on this “runway.”
You might retry Hippity Hopping.
Exertion that might have you stopping
With just a short start,
It revs up your heart.
Add song—moving now becomes “Bopping.”
Sometimes Funny requires time-space—
Moving away from the awkward place.
Time shows the humor,
Like a late-bloomer.
Passing time can bring a funny grace.
Commitment’s no longer enthusing.
Your mind’s on the verge of refusing,
The workout you planned.
You now understand,
It’s time to add something amusing.
