The wind is so strong that I find I,
Feel fearful to ride though I can try—
Some things that I know,
To counter its blow.
When I turn around, wind’s my ally.
The trail past my house that I’m liking,
Facilitates more than just biking.
Someone that you see,
May turn out to be,
The one for connection quite striking.
The things that we learn from life’s shifting,
Always include “heavy lifting.”
Any journey’s route,
Informs us about,
What our “heavy lifting” is gifting.
When I report what I am seeing,
Of course I hope you are agreeing.
More “takes” can expand,
The viewing at hand.
Variety can increase “being.”
Do you know I rode my bike today?
Do you know that’s how I like to play?
When I get to ride
I’m nicer inside.
Riding hard keeps my dark clouds away.
When I laugh, my outlook gets brighter
The weight on my shoulders gets lighter.
Poss-i-bil-ity
Is clearer to me.
My efforts can simply seem “righter.”
Avoiding some weather condition,
Can cause regrettable omission
Of things you might do.
Things that could bring you
An upsurge of joy and ambition.
My friend Sue epitomized sunscreen.
She guarded against any unseen—
Rays that might turn,
Her skin to sunburn.
