What Captured Your Time?

12 weeks until start of Empire State Bike Tour

Not much biking for me this week.
“Living-my-life-happy” events,
Things that come ’round annually,
Were center of attention.

Trip to North Shore of Lake Superior,
Bob’s early birthday outing,
A favorite place for quiet.

Can you guess that
Carefully looking for ‘special’ rocks,
Midst the shoreline millions,
Is a great activity?

Challenge is selecting few,
Rather than keeping all,
That capture interest.

Maybe there is a reminder.
To admire & appreciate widely;
Yet carefully select
What we choose to add & carry.

Hmm — good message for a bike pannier.
Who knows where else it finds a fit.

Hugs to you,
Lin
