How Do You Get Shape Back Into Your Life When it Gets Flat?

Eleven weeks until start of Empire State Ride.

No biking to report.
Unusual week filled with time-consuming appts.

Each important with positive outcome,
Each gulping down time.
Necessary health checks.
Fortunately, no problems revealed.
Still —- gulping down time.

How to balance life “need-to”
With needed training for long ride.

How to prioritize activity & attention.
Important and possible,
Or simply possible?
Those thoughts have flattened me this week.

My shift from life as flat,
To life with some shape? —

I received
Unexpected words of affirmation.
From a wise, thoughtful person
I trust.

These questions linger —
Balance,
Choices,
Possibility.

Still, I can think from a better place.
More shape to life.

Hugs to you,
Lin

Go, go, go, Lin! It is always so inspiring reading your thoughts! You will have a successful Empire State Ride, just like the many others you accomplished so far and I will be eager to read about it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your amazing support, Irene! I am learning a lot about “doing what you can” — whatever piece or part of your dream you can do…
