Recommitment

What are you ready to Recommit to?

I’m determined to “Recommit.”
That’s my Shift #5.

Usually a “recommit” for me is
Some physical task.
Recommitting to walk every day,
Or organizing closet shelves.

This Recommit is to Clear Communication.
Probably harder than organizing shelves.
Certainly more important.

I may even look for suggested guidelines.

Listen carefully, repeat back,
Focus, be present.

We know these.
Me too.
Easy for me to think,
“I’ve got this. I know this.”

And when I haven’t, or don’t
It can be painful on both sides.

So, my Friends—
I’m Recommitting to
Clear Communication!
