New Challenges

How will we engage with new possibilities?

Wednesday, October 23, 2020

What will you shift as cold weather settles in?

It's not just when will temps drop
Rather, how soon constant below-freezing temps?

Impending season change,
Not to be ignored when
Countryside drive had
Windshield wipers banging full-tilt
To keep snow from blocking view.
Arghh!

Layering up for bike ride,
Makes me laugh!
Effective layers looking like
Rag-tag scarecrow.

Remember that "Beeko?”
To keep sun off my nose
During long summer-time rides?

Who knew!
It keeps the cold wind off my nose.

Rag-tag layers, Beeko, companionship
Of Bike Buddy,
Got me out door for great
Twenty-mile loop.

Autumn color fading,

Still beautiful.
Many fields harvested.
We move into next season.

How will we notice each day's
Possibilities?
Real question is,
How will we engage those possibilities?

Whatever shows up, take it.
Keeps us engaged and stretching.

Hugs to you,
Lin

Needed this today – cursing the ice as we walked our regular 2-mile loop. Love the snow, hate the ice. Need to look at new ways to exercise! Thank you for so much positivity!!!

Even though we know it’s coming, it’s a shock. Step carefully, my friend! Yes. new ways to exercise. I have access to an indoor stationary bike, and have hallways to walk. Doesn’t compare to riding outside, so staying motivated is an issue! Onward we go, together we can do it!
