Lake Michigan Ride—Home Again

Hello Friends,

Home from bike trip means:
Adjusting routine, expanding wardrobe beyond bike shorts,
Being grateful, missing riding,
Doing laundry as both
Necessity and centering task.

Tomorrow, Monday, June 25,
Begin driving in car to MT.
My four sisters and I meet annually
For reconnecting reunion.
This year in Bozeman, MT.

Shared time is important,
As sister age gaps spans twenty years,
With me as The Elder.

Change in plan...
I have withdrawn from Tour de Wyoming
Bike ride roster.

Decided Lake Michigan ride
Sufficient Long Trip for this year.

Column #2

Change will open some time for
Sharing short & several bike rides
With Bob!

I really treasure those rides
We can make together.

Even with good decision made,
I feel some tug to "hang in there"
For everything.

I am making time for
The "Everything" that matters this summer.

We will be returning to MN
Mid-July.
Watch for mini-trip bike reports.
