In my bright bedroom at Air B& B in London, OH.
I was a passenger in the Van today.
Best place for me to be.
Not where I wanted to be.
I am hobbling.
On the flats, I limp and feel secure.
Stairs and exiting Van, hurt.
Our lodging for tonight:
Bedrooms on second floor.
As is bathroom.
Margaret and Hope have again given me
Private room.
Especially since it is just across hall from bathroom.
I talked with Ken about taking me to a motel,
Instead of 2nd floor.
With his coaching, standing nearby.
I've practiced going upstairs seated on my butt.
Never done that before.
I grew up in single level home.
By time Bob and I had house with 2nd story,
It never occurred to me to use that mode.

Clockwise from upper left: With Chad, my "Angel" yesterday (me looking shocked and shook-up), Ample space to elevate my leg today in backseat of Van. Coffee break for riders in South Charleston, OH. Our Air BnB in London, OH.
It is a short space for me,
Between knowing this healing takes time,
And tears...
Disappointment, frustration, aches & limitations.
There are people here who "get it," and
All are kindly, patient.
Lucky me to be so cared for.
May you have support in whatever you are doing.
Hugs,
Lin

Clockwise from upper left: Back of London's Carnegie Library remodeled in 1980. Great name for an ice cream shop. Books for Dyslexia: I asked to see one of the books. Lots of white space. Short sentences. Made great sense. Retired therapy dog, Emma, comes in to Library for kids to read aloud to her.

You’re getting taken care of and seeing the sights. Not bad! So happy nothing worse happened to you.
Me, too. Thank you, Linda!
Keep on…keeping on, Lin
For me, after injury or illness, it is the first week that is the toughest time. 🫤
Thank you for the updates with photos…loved the one and your 'Angel' Chad.
In friendship 👯♀️,
Muriel
Yes, yes, yes! Keeping on. 🙂
