Celebrating completed puzzle.
When stymied by a situation,
Resolution is a complication.
Turning it around,
May show you you've found,
What's workable for transformation.
What puzzle has been stymying you?
At the end of our long dining table
Most times, a jigsaw puzzle
Is in progress.
Evenings are puzzle time.
Sometimes taking turns puzzling
While the other person reads aloud.
Sometimes listening to
"Sons of the Pioneers" sing.
With me joining in for a few phrases.
(Always makes me wish I had learned to yodel).
Those evenings when the puzzle
Isn't making progress,
We keep putting together
Just two pieces.
Eventually all those "two pieces"
Complete the picture.
I read once that
"Life is like a jigsaw puzzle,
You just keep putting in the pieces."
It's like a bike trip,
You just keep pedaling "one-mile-at-a-time.”
Eventually, that gets you where you want to go.
Recent puzzle was a particular challenge.
Multicolored splotches of paint.
Few linear clues.
For two puzzle evenings,
A particular clump of purple pieces
Just didn't fit where I thought it should.
Third night, I turned clump in a
Different orientation....
Voila! Slid right in.
How often does that match
A life challenge?
After days of effort using
Particular sequence for solution,
We use those pieces in
Different orientation.
Good results can slide right in.

Views from the trail. Left: Calm farm view belies activity behind the scenes. Right: Fanciful and colorful trailside decoration.
May you consider your "puzzles"
From different angles...
With patience.
Hugs,
Lin
