Panora to Madrid, IA—40.5 miles
My biking day was SO very fun.
Tomorrow I'll give it "another run.”
When I bike awhile,
And it makes me smile,
I'm happy-tired, when the ride is done.
Ride today was 40.5 miles. I rode all of it!
This was a GREAT day!
It reminded me that I DO like biking.
Moving down the trail, smiling,
The BEST!
As you have read,
I've been working on convincing myself
The first three days of this trip.
Now, everybody's spirits have lifted .
Thirty miles of trail today.
Raccoon River Trail is flat & well-maintained.
Sunshine, warm temps, light breeze.
Our destination, Madrid,
Is close to The High Trestle Trail.
Half-mile above Des Moines River Valley,
Trail is lit with blue light
From dusk to midnight.
Dramatic.
Plan is to go viewing this evening.
I'm happy!
