New Year Mindset

Wednesday, January 4th, 2023

As I am beginning this new year,
I have just one thought that is so clear.
The times I can share
With whomever’s there,
Are routes to connections that endear.

What will you carry into the New Year?

Looking back over 2022,
Very best was connecting with dear people.
Phone, text, email, in person,
Connections have enriched my year.

The honor of listening and
Being listened to, fills my heart.

For me,
Time and attention are true gifts.

You may remember,
When December 2022 started,
I set goal of indoor biking miles—125/month.
Actual tally for Dec. is 152 miles.
I’m on track!

Stationary bike riding is my expected activity
Several days per week.
Book in hand,
I can pedal and read.
The better the book, the more I pedal!

My mind-set for this new year?
Notice the abundance and possibility
My life holds.
View days through my Gratitude-Prism.
Remember that “One-day-at-a-time”
Moves me down life’s road.
Above all, cherish the journey.

Sending all good wishes to you!

Hugs,
Lin
