Grumpy in Paradise

Sanibel Island Day 6

Tuesday, March 12, 2019

Hello My Friends,

I had Grumpy hours this morning.
How can that be ...
Grumpy-In-Paradise?
Sun shining, flowers blooming, biking.
Absolutely no reason, no hard stuff ... still there it was ... Grump.

We biked Sanibel Island from one end point to other and back again,
Blind Pass Bridge to the Lighthouse, round trip.
Lots of time for my mind to come up with
Bike words to tunes, limericks,
Things to make me smile.

That helped,
As well as big restaurant lunch and afternoon nap.

I'll share some words.
Be sure to start smiling before reading...
To prime your mindset.

SING this out loud to "THREE BLIND MICE"
"Slow Blind Curves,”
Bike trail swerves.
You push down your thumb on your handlebar bell,
It makes so much Noise that is loud and is swell,
Alerting a rider, its message to tell,
On "Slow Blind Curves."

Limerick:

When riding, what clothing do you wear?
Some ride down the trail nearly all bare.
Some cover all skin,
Sun tolerance thin.
Our clothes suit we riders as we dare.

Thanks, and HUGS,
Lin

Lin, what a cool lighthouse. I’ve not seen one a bit like it. A parallel image for celebrating You as you wrap up your 80th year? Unique and striking design, well grounded and supported, reaching for the sky, willing to be seen, and sending the light of encouragement out for any and all!
