Choosing To Be Wowed

When summer has come to its “bottom,”
It’s followed by colors of autumn.
With yellow and red
We’re vibrantly fed
With bright views, and truly I’ve got ’em.
Choosing to be “wowed.”
This really feels like a time of
Season -Transition.
I’m biking, though not as much.
Still, I’m closing in on my goal for
2022 outside-biking.
I have 87 miles to ride to complete my
Two-thousand-mile goal.
I am awed by autumn color
That shows up in brilliant splotches,
Or long, vibrant swathes.
It’s amazing, noticing
Transformed views.
Choosing to be “wowed” again this year.
In our area,
Artists are presenting their
Singular, stunning art.
Art fairs have graced weekends.
It seems like a feast of
Abundant color and creativity
Lights up my life.
Lifts my heart with this Bright show.
