My birthday had much celebration.
Connections of all variation.
They fill up my heart,
And give me the start,
For my year of great jubilation!

Phone calls and texts,
Dinner out with part of our large family.
Such a wonderful “Buzz” of attention!
Friends, some from decades of interaction,
Some only a few years in the making,
Extended generations of family,
All reached out to wish me Happy Birthday.
I’m feeling “wrapped in a blanket of …”
Descriptor escaped me for a few seconds.
What I’m feeling is being loved.
