This task is too big; it has laid bare,
Resistance and doubt,– do I now dare
To see the job through?
Stretch what I can do?
Remember, “Keep at it. You’ll get there”.

Where are you persistent?

I’ve been practicing/pouring over
Thoughts and words I’ll share for my next talk.
I’m invited to say a few things at the
SMART board meeting next week.

That is such a “cool” acronym, SMART.
Southeast Minnesota Association of Regional Trails.
Tells who they are and what they do.
Care about, expand, look after, find the funding for,
Trails in Southeast MN.

My phrase, which I use often is
“Keep at it. You’ll get there.”
It showed up first, as one of the reminders for me
When I’m still miles from my day’s bike destination.

Now, like many “thoughts-from-my-bike-seat”,
I find that this one relates to my non-pedaling life.

Finishing a task, incorporating new strategies,
In fact, any learning, completing, composing, arriving,
All can use the encouragement of
“Keep at it. You’ll get there”.

I’m taking that in, on many levels.
Join me. Will you, please?

“Keep at it. You’ll get there”.

Hugs,
Lin
