What’s Best About Home For You?

When looking at ground while it’s snowing,
It’s hard to remember the growing.
It will come to be.
That’s when I will see
Green plantings push through and get going.

FL ice cream outing. Key lime flavor!
Viewing fabulous Sanibel sunset
FL flowers along my bike ride
Hibiscus on way to airport

I’m back in MN — home.
I open the door and see “familiar”.
Arrangements as I remember.

Welcoming space for me to occupy.
And I feel like I’ve arrived.

Even stacked papers waiting for attention,
Make me smile.
They are always part of my scene.

After three weeks of Florida warmth,
Flowers and ocean,
MN-still-wintery bare ground is sharp contrast.

Here’s the reminder to me —
I see
Bare ground, filled with promise.

Hugs.
