Lake Michigan Ride—Day 6

Traverse City—near Boyne City, MI: 60 miles

Friday, June 8, 2018

I rode fifty miles.

Total ride was sixty miles.
Asked for "lift" to lodging for tonight,
Which is Air B & B on a golf course.

Very challenging ride for many.
Hills, Hills, Hills.
Stan with his Garmond device said 13% for one climb.

Not surprising.
I think we are cutting across all the waterways
Entering Lake.

Margaret rode today.
Nancy was "lunch lady" with truck.

Since I was with good route direction readers,
Went off course with them to local Farmers’ Market in Elk River.
Fun attraction was young person about twelve years,
Aspiring Magician,
Gave show with balls, bolts, cups .... MAGIC.

This house is within huge golf course.
Six miles of hills just to get to here within course.

Short message this evening.
Arghhhh!
I am tired.
I'm well, safe, a day farther along on this trip.

Please "stay tuned."

Hugs to each, Lin

Having fun following you virtually…I’ve got you on a Google map showing the route, mileage and elevations. So glad it looks like it hasn’t rained on you much so far. Thanks for taking the time to document your trip for the rest of us!
