I know you by your eyes

A Comforting Constant Midst Change...

Monday, May 11, 2020

My Dear Friends,

My daughter told me this story:

She shaved her head—just for kicks—
For "cool" and for ease in Pandemic.
She was in grocery store
Wearing mask (and shorter-than-military-cut hair),
Yet a patron from the library where she worked
Five years ago, recognized her.

It must have been her eyes.

I am thankful for this power of our eyes,
To shine through,
To let ourselves be known.

With gratitude for knowing you,

Hugs,
Lin
