How Did You Connect This Week?

My Birthday!
This weekend I turned 82 years old.

With that, a wealth of 
Connections for me to cherish.

This Saturday birthday stretched into
Three-day weekend of
“Specialness”.
Special food, 
Special phone calls,
Special visits,
Special messages.

I started out feeling,
“No Fuss Needed.”
Then shifted to being grateful for 
Words & actions of celebration.

Each of these connections 
Brightens my life,
Gives me joy,
Prompt my heart’s 
“Happy Dance”!

Probably AGE heightens appreciation,
For caring people and enjoyable time.
Hold on to these, every un-birthday day.

I’m planning on hanging on to
My Birthday-Time gifts of
Time, authentic connection, generous listening;
These are
Life-time GIFTS.
