Small Pleasures

Monday, June15, 2020

My dear friend,

Life begins to "open up" again,
Yet for us, as seniors,
Taking precautions,
Much is still the same.

Being careful,
Staying home,
Limiting contact,
Social distancing.

One of the small pleasures
Of this time has been "take-out."

Cooking is not my "ball of wax,"
My husband is chef at our house.

But even he tires of his own cooking,
Enjoying  that magic pleasure...
Take-out!

Gratitude for small pleasures!

Hugs,
Lin

  1. Hi Lin-I had my first take out last Friday night ~ Coconut Thai ~ they even serve brown rice [although you have to may extra]. It is located in the 50th and France location.

    You are still my hero!

    Sincerely,

    Amy

    Biker too!

    1. We enjoy Thai food as well! It’s one of our bicycle destinations in Faribault. I am humbled and honored to be your hero! hugs, Lin
