Back Biking Outdoors

Hello Friends,

Blooming flowers, tiny green leaves, little goslings.
Spring is here!

That means biking outside,
Wonderful.

Bob and I have been on Cannon Trail once,
Our hometown East and West River Trails several times.
It makes me smile.

Thinking about fact that I bike more
When preparing /training for particular ride,
I realize that until any trip schedule is figured out,
I need a Goal.

Here it is:

In twenty weeks, mid May -> end Sept
I will ride one thousand miles.
That works out to fifty miles / week.
Manageable, I think.

I'll ride extra when I can, to cover
Rain days and busy days.
So far, I am on track.
I'll keep you posted.

Tomorrow, May 14, is outing to
North Shore of Lake Superior,
Celebrating Bob's 84th birthday, May 12.
Bob was actually born on Mother's Day,
Making his mom an official celebrant,
Having birthed a ten pounder.

You'll hear from me.
See pictures of Big Lake,
Interesting rocks.
Hopefully bike and rider on trail.
