I'm stewing around with a deep thought.
It popped out from some obscure brain-slot—
Show up and take part,
Is really the start—
For daily adventures you have sought.
Where is your “Right Spot?”
I am bicycling outside!
Just in from a trail bike ride.
Feeling a combination of
Happy Dance and Peace.
My particular combo today is
Big on peace,
With giddy happy dance
Lighting up all around the edges.
I’m in my “Right Spot.”
Those times when you are in
Your Right Spot,
Are a gift ...
To you and to your world.
While I've "holed up” …
The "sometimes lake" now totally
Blanketed with fuzzy-looking
Thick green algae.
I heard a
Bullfrog.
Sounds like he is
Belching from
Bottom of a Bassoon.

While I've been "gone": (Clockwise from upper left): Thick green algae blanketing small lake, Cheerful, creative planter, Pause along the Cannon River, Bright trailside Black-Eyed Susans (Rudbeckia).
I got thinking that
Changes are constant.
If I want to be a part of
Life evolving,
I need to show up.
Staying away,
Shifting my focus,
Those are fine.
Yet, if I want to part of some
Landscape, community, action,
That expand my life,
I need to show up.
I love riding.
It's worth pulling on the high-viz and
Padded layers to ride outside,
Whatever it is that lets you feel
“In Your Right Spot,”
Do some of it everyday.
And .... Do NOT wait.
Do it now.
Hugs,
Lin

Malcolm took me to the Scottish festival at McAllister
University yesterday.
That’s a fabulous “Right Spot!” I’m hearing the sound of bagpipes!
