At 81... Who'd've thought?
Tuesday, July 7, 2020
Hello my friend!
Exciting event for me:
I’m a Cover Girl!
Never thought I’d say that…
Cover story in “Thrive” Magazine Summer Issue
About me entitled “Chain Breaker!”
Magazine is MN Blue Cross Blue Shield’s,
For Medicare Supplemental Insurance subscribers.
Interacting with copywriter and photographer,
All positive and fun.
Virus restrictions crimped face-to-face interview.
Phone conversation was splendid.
Photos were "social distance".
Just right for task at hand.
Drone supplied overhead distance shots.
Yahoo! Fun.
You never know what unexpected adventure
Awaits around the corner!
I’d be honored if you would take a look.

Dear Lin and Bob,
Niki would have been so proud and happy for you accomplishments, as I am. Wishing you many years ahead on two wheels.
Oh, Alan–thank you for that. I would have loved to giggle over it with her. Thanks for the good wishes, as always, we appreciate you.
Just wanted to say that your article in Thrive magazine made me cry. Gave me hope and confidence that I could do that too.
I’ve been riding a stationary bike 5 days per week for 30 minutes which adds up to 6.3 miles per day, for about two years. I thought this was it.
I guess now I could start thinking about going somewhere.
Thank you for sharing
Barb.
Barb, thank you for sharing. You make ME cry! I know that sense of thinking “this is it,” and the relief and freedom of learning it is not. Yes, yes, yes to your next steps, one small step at a time!
