The Life Celebration we’re sharing,
Is filled with the grief we are bearing.
Yet, that’s only part,
That fills up each heart.
It shows us how much we are caring.

Today my bike tripping is ending,
I’m grateful I’ve had the time spending,
Those miles on the road,
Creating an ode,
Of biking and friendship, all blending.

Time that we share is so fleeting,
Time for our news and great eating.

I’m viewing the wonder of new sights,
Flowers, and ocean, and mountain heights.
Magnificent—true!
Still, visits with you
Are brightest for me, beyond city lights.
