Biking and Speaking Updates

Friday, March 16, 2018

Hello My Friends,

Current biking:
Nearly daily stationary indoor bike riding,
Preparing for Lake Michigan ride in June.

Longer hours of daylight,
Increasing temps,
Melting snow,
In a few weeks,
I will ride outside!

My birthday just passed—
Celebrated 79 years on March 13.

March 13 as its start date was prompt to sign up for
My first transcontinental U.S. ride: CA -> FL,
Nineteen years ago, 1999.

Speaking:
This year on March 13,

I won first place in Area 45 Toastmaster
International Speech Contest.

Perfect birthday event,
Since winning talk is about
Being scared first ride.
Working so hard,
Coming 'round to appreciating accomplishment,
And personal stretch required.

My "greater sense of possibility"
One of greatest gifts from this
Wild-old-age commitment to
Bike Riding!

May you find the "stretch"
You want.

Hugs to each,
Lin
