Sheridan Tour de Wyoming endpoint
Launched Bob, Elizabeth, me
Into Montana.
Great visit with dear friends
Karin Erickson Smith and Ron Smith in Billings.
Perfect cocoon of kind people, good food,
Interesting conversations.
On to mountains above Judith Gap.
My dear sister Jill and husband Ken;
Off grid, resourceful, creative, generous,
Welcoming us.
To "The Waters" of White Sulphur Springs,
Where we soaked in geothermal hot water,
Softening tired biking muscles.
Long day of driving back to Centennial.
Those six hundred miles,
Even more exhausting than bicycle 660 miles,
Parceled over 13 days.
Focus now is to be
Preparing talk for 60th h.s. pre- reunion
Lunch with other returning classmates.
In car backseat yesterday,
Wrote new set of funny bike song words.
Getting ready.
Always challenging to give up a destination bike ride.
Those days are very single-focused,
Have specific end point,
I can mark my progress.
All is well in different focus.
Hugs,
Lin
Today's Limerick:
I rode in the car for forever,
Distressed that arrival would never
Come quite soon enough.
Car riding is tough,
To sit there is quite an endeavor.
The place to meet wonderful people in Billings! 🙂

So proud of you
Thanks Suzanne! You know, you are one of the “go for it gals” I learned from!
You were born to succeed!!!!!!
Thank you, Ann! I believe that’s true of each of us, as we find our own “thing” and commit to it.
