All registered for ride that starts tomorrow!
Many people, much excitement.
For me ... much nervousness.
Tomorrow I’m scheduled to be the "entertainment”—
Wheatland, WY, evening of first day.
Editor error in Information pamphlet says
"No entertainment in Wheatland."
At end of tonight's introductory announcements,
I walked to front,
Reached out for microphone,
(I get pretty bold on bike trip)
Led crowd in "call & response" song
About biking.
Now I am in mind's eye
When bulletin board lists
Event, route news for Sunday.
They have face to attach to name.
Elizabeth Williams here now.
Our "Team": two riders,
One excellent SAG,
Is complete.
Ready to roll in the early morning.
